Company Story

STEPVR aims to unleash human creativity with metaverse technology. Dr. Guo Cheng founded STEPVR in July 2013 and has spent 9 years focusing on the research and development of full-chain technology to create realistic virtual reality experiences. STEPVR has core technologies including laser positioning, motion capture, robotic touch, omni-directional movement systems, and has created hardware devices that replicate users' senses in the metaverse.

Products and Services

STEPVR has created in real life the metaverse portal "Guocheng No.1 Gates 01" from the movie "Ready Player One"; the iMetaStar at MetaStar, a one-stop virtual human solution; and the Metaverse Digital Living Room, the world's largest fully immersive VR experience center.

Commercialization

STEPVR officially began commercialization in 2021. Within just 18 months of product launch, over 150 VR entertainment stores have been opened nationwide, serving over a million paying users, with an average of over 90 virtual influencers joining each month. STEPVR has proven the profitability of its business model and has become a deserved leader in the metaverse industry.

2024

  • Launched free-roam VR LBE brand "I am Player 1 1"

2023

  • Established the first domestic free-roam VR immersive exploration exhibition "Wow! Sanxingdui", creating the LBE cultural and tourism brand "Wow" series
